These are our personal favorite coffee shops in Tokyo. There were so many other places that we can add here but these all stood out and were the places we had to introduce to you guys! Hope you guys enjoy the blog post!

Best Coffee Shops in Tokyo | Introducing 6 of Our Favorites!

1. Streamer Coffee Company

The Streamer Coffee Company uses very concentrated coffee (packs 3 times more coffee than other shops!) and so you are able to taste the espresso. In addition, the coffee shop owner, Hiroshi Sawada is actually very famous as he is a very famous barista. There are also other spots around in Tokyo as well, so you can try to get their coffees easily!

2. Sarutahiko Coffee The Bridge

The Sarutahiko Coffee Coffee the Bridge have a total of 14 shops in Japan and also outside of Japan in Taiwan. The name “Sarutahiko” derives from Japanese god, who is known as the guide and gives strength. Therefore, the shop is actually approved by the Shinto shrines.

They are not only known for just coffee but good decaf coffee. So, if you need coffee but you are cutting caffeine, this is a great place to go to!

3. Kitasando Coffee

The Kitasando Coffee allows you to choose not only the coffee beans but also the concentration of coffee from 6 levels. But the most interesting part of the coffee shop is that the owner used to be the CEO of Merpay. Therefore, you just need your phone or credit card.

4. About Life Coffee Brewers

The About Life Coffee Brewers lets you choose different coffee beans by actually smelling each of the coffee beans. Additionally, something special about this coffee shop is that they roast their coffee beans every morning.

From this shop, we are able to directly see how the shop roasts their coffee but also make our own choices with the smell of the coffee as well. Since they have a lot of different coffee beans, they have a chart to help you choose which one is the best for you.

5. The Local Coffee Stand

The Local Coffee Stand has a very young and cool vibe and has a casual atmosphere. On the counter, we are able to see how the drink is made. Here, we drank the Nicaragua coffee, which is actually hard to find. Similar to other shops, we are able to select different types of coffee beans as well, by light or dark roast.

6. The Roastery

The Roastery lets you choose different coffee beans by actually smelling each of the coffee beans. Additionally, something special about this coffee shop is that they roast their coffee beans every morning. From this shop, we are able to directly see how the shop roasts their coffee but also make our own choices with the smell of the coffee as well.
