Originated in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Standard Bakers Tokyo’s famous product, “Cream Pan”, is very similar to a cream puff. The shop really cares about their ingredients in the Cream Pan and therefore, eggs are from Tochigi.

The bread itself has two different textures: the top has a nice sugar coating and is crunchy and the other half of the bread is soft. The cream inside is very creamy that it will melt in your mouth!

Ramen Rin Tokyo is a shop that collaborated with JR and Japanese Ramen Noodle Lab Q. The Shoyu Ramen that we chose is very simple but has a very deep flavor from the 5 different types of soy sauce that they mixed in. In addition, they used three different types of chicken in the broth as well. This gives adds flavor to the noodles and the pork and the other toppings as well. If you like the pork Chashu, you can also get more by ordering the special set has three different types of pork, along with more toppings.

Kasho Sanzen is famous for their popular souvenir, “Hagi no Tsuki” in Sendai, Miyagi. At Tokyo Station, they sell the white version, called “Hagi no Shirabeko.” The white egg that they use instead, creates the white cream filling with the white outer sponge castella. The two different textures create a very good combination and makes it enjoyable. Before buying it make sure to plan ahead as there is always a line.

Kakunoshin Hambagu & Bar is known for their “Hambagu.” It is a mixture of Kanzaki aged beef along with pork from Iwate prefecture. The secret ingredient is rice salt malt. The side of the egg, which you can mix and pour on top of the Hambagu.

When you eat it together, it brings out the Umami flavor. Since you can enjoy different flavors in one taste, it is nice to eat along with the rice as well. At this restaurant, you can choose different sauces for the Hambagu. Here, we chose “Gyusho”, which is made from black hair Kuroge Wagyu, fermented to match with the Hambagu.

Captain Cheese sells a tiny burger and you can buy it individually or you can get it in different packs. The mini cheese burger has a crumbly outside biscuit and the cheese is chocolate with a hint of cheese flavor. This is perfect for a gift for children or to eat is as a snack on a train ride.
