The power bracelet costs 3200 yen and allows to be more interactive inside the Mario Area. The one we chose here is the Mario one but there are 5 other character types. This can be bought inside the park. Using this, you can do different challenges throughout the park. You are able to collect coins in the park. There a total of 5 challenges you can try. One great thing for Nintendo Switch owners is that you can connect the band to your switch as an amiibo.

Most of the games you will do them alone but some you will work together as a team to complete the games. It is a great way to exercise and to move your body as well. In addition, there are blocks throughout the park to get coins, similar to the Mario game! The question mark boxes and other blocks will make you feel like you are playing the Mario game.

Yoshi’s Adventure is a complete opposite of Mario Cart Koopa’s Challenge, you are able to sit down and enjoy the view of the park and also the Kinopio(Mushroom) Kingdom. During the ride, there is a mini game to find three eggs just like a treasure hunt! You are also able to see Baby Mario and Baby Peach riding on Yoshi!

KINOPio’s cafe

Screenshot (295).png

Kinopio’s Cafe is the main restaurant in the Mario Area. Here we are going to introduce the recommended food on their menu. Mario’s Bacon Cheese Burger has a sauce similar to barbecue sauce with cheese. The best part about this burger is that you can take home the Mario hat stick that is used to put together the burger. Since the burger has a deep taste, the fries have a simple seasoning which is a great combination.

The Super Mushroom Pizza Bowl with Mushroom Tomato Sauce is a dish that is mimicking the mushroom character. The outside is bread but is very hard and the inside is like the Naan bread. You can take off the bread part and you will be able to see the delicious olive oil based mushroom tomato sauce. It is very good when you eat both of the together.

You can finish off your meal with the ? Box Tiramisu. It looks like the question mark box inside of the Mario game. The outside has a very nice sweet buttery cookie along with the chocolate character which has variations. The inside is a classic tiramisu with mascarpone cheese and inside there is a nice clear layer of whipped cream, coffee drenched sponge cake and chocolate mousse.

If you were not able to go inside of the Mario Area, you can still get a bit of the taste outside of the area at Hollywood Ave. Mario’s Cap Strawberry Shortcake is a pancake sandwich filled with whipped cream and strawberries. Inside there is custard and strawberry jam filling as well. This pancake is a photogenic treat that you must try! The coolest part about this cafe is that you can watch the chefs make the pancake!
